In February, a small group of colleagues from Viatris Austria stepped into the kitchen at Caritas Austria, a long-standing local organization supporting people experiencing homelessness. Over the course of an afternoon, they prepared 150 hot meals for visitors of a day center that offers warmth, shelter, and a sense of stability.
The activity is part of the #BuildingHealthierCommunities program – a framework that brings together local philanthropic initiatives across Viatris Europe. In Austria, the team’s involvement reflects an ongoing, trusted partnership with Caritas and a shared belief in the value of practical, community-rooted action.
With just five colleagues and 25 volunteer hours, the impact was immediate. It’s a reminder that even small-scale efforts – when tied to local needs – can go far.
